Verses

The Verses tab serves as the centralized view of all Verses deployed to Production. Whenever a project is published to the Metaverse, a Verse is automatically generated from the Production deployment and recorded here.

From the Verses tab, you can:

• Quickly access all published Verses
• Open and preview your scenes
• Copy and share links to your Verses
• Rename or delete a published Verse

Managing Verses

Once you've published a Verse, click the dropdown menu to access key management tools.

Available actions:

• Publish – Toggle whether the Verse is publicly available. When published, the Verse can be shared and accessed according to its visibility settings.
• Open – Launch the Verse to explore or edit its contents.
• Share – Generate a shareable link or QR code to invite others to access the Verse.
• Create Instance – Create a new instance of the Verse with its own unique URL. This is useful for events, demonstrations, testing, or running multiple independent sessions from the same Verse.
• Published Versions – View the retained Production versions of the Verse and change the active version to a newer or older published version.
• Make Public – Switch the Verse from private/shared to public so it becomes discoverable by the community.
• Analytics – View visitor activity, engagement, and performance metrics.
• Delete – Permanently remove the Verse. This action cannot be undone.

Published Versions

The Published Versions option allows you to view and manage the retained versions of a Production-published Verse.

Each time a new Production version is published, it replaces the current active version while retained previous versions remain available in the Published Versions window.

The window displays:

• Version – Shows each retained published version and its publication date and time.
• Active – Indicates which published version is currently active.
• Actions – Allows available actions for retained versions, such as deleting an older version.

Changing the Active Published Version

To switch the Verse to a different published version:

1. Open the Verse dropdown menu and select Published Versions.
2. Locate the version you want to use.
3. Select the radio button under Active for that version.
4. Click Confirm to apply the change.

You can select either a newer or older retained version. Once confirmed, the selected version becomes the active version of the published Verse.

This allows you to return to a previous Production version when needed without creating a new Verse.

Deleting a Published Version

Older retained versions can be removed using the Delete icon under Actions.

The currently active version cannot be deleted. To delete it, first change the active version to another retained version.

Note: Published version management applies only to Production-published Verses.

Options like Create Instance depend on permissions. Only admins or Verse managers may see them. If you believe you should have access, please contact an administrator or reach out through the Contact page.

Instances

The Instances tab sits next to the Verses tab and lists all the instances created from your Verses.

An instance is a private copy of a Verse with its own URL, allowing testing or customization without affecting the original.

Create an Instance

When you select Create Instance from the Verse menu, a new copy of your Verse is generated with a different URL.

Managing Instances

For each instance, you can access the dropdown menu to perform actions:

• Publish – Publish the instance to the Explore page.
• Open – Launch and enter that instance.
• Share – Copy a direct link or QR code to invite others.
• Analytics – View engagement stats specific to that instance.
• Delete – Remove the instance permanently (does not affect the original Verse).

Note: Permissions apply here as well—only admins or Verse managers may have access to some options.
